Quentin’s Quilting 15, 16 from Virtual Quilter

This could be the back of a pieced quilt … or the front of a whole cloth quilt.

The second design is the front of a quilt because the pieced blocks are visible … and I like it! I think I would quilt the block outlines in these designs, but in a thread to match the background fabric.

Four extra dark shapes added to the first design makes more of a difference than I thought it would.

Brooksea at Christmas 13, 14 from Virtual Quilter

Love it in Christmas colours, but it would look great in many different colourways.

Very different to the first design, and I like it too, especially the quilting motifs based on pieced blocks.
